The HDR is a hugely underrated weapon because its power can shoot at once. It is often overlooked in Warzone in favor of more versatile Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns. Here’s our best equipment for showing off its destructive power to the best of our ability.
Whether you’re trying to achieve victory in Verdansk or on Rebirth Island, there is always a method to keep your enemies at bay. If you have enough legroom between you, an HDR-wielding sniper, against an exposed MAC-10 or FFAR-wielding enemy, then you can pierce them permanently with one Sniper bullet.
Even if you’re not completely satisfied with the HDR in its basic form, there are tons of different attachments and perks to make the best gear. Let’s go through it.
Best Warzone HDR Attachments
- End of a barrel: Monolithic suppressor
- Barrel: 26.9 ″ HDR Pro
- Laser: Tac Laser
- Optics: Zoom with variable scope
- Magazine: Nine round magazines
Our first selection is the Monolithic suppressor Muzzle, because we simply don’t want to be found in Warzone. Whether you’re doing duos, trios, or squads, no one wants to be compromised. The next is a barrel and the 26.9 ″ HDR Pro loop will increase the damage and range of the weapon. Now, even though the HDR is a beast over a longer distance, this increases your chances of a one-shot without a headshot.
We hit a laser on the HDR, one in particular Tac LaserA major reason for this is that some of these attachments make the ADS suffer quite a bit, and this will help to facilitate the reductions. For Optic it is Variable zoom range is a no-brainer as it can account for different distances across a substantial Warzone map such as Rebirth Island.
Our final selection is one nine Round Magazine, adding four more rounds of ammo to fire before reloading is needed. This will add some weight when sprinting, so we recommend switching to a secondary while traveling through Verdansk.
Best Benefits for Warzone HDR
Now that we’ve equipped the right attachments for the HDR, we’re going to focus on the best perks for this weapon.
- Advantage 1: Flak jacket
- Advantage 2: Overkill
- Advantage 3: Amped
Want to avoid all the explosive damage from the Claymores, Semtex and C4 barrage? Look no further than Flak jacketThis extra ensures that you are ready for any resistance.
In a perfect world, you are Bradley Cooper from American Sniper and you can pick anyone from any position without being confronted. However, this is Warzone. So Overkill offers you the luxury of an Assault Rifle or SMG for desperate situations.
When disaster strikes and you need to engage in a Close-Quarters Combat situation with an opponent, you’ll want to switch to that aforementioned alternate weapon. The Amped little extra helps you do that in the blink of an eye.
How to unlock the HDR in Warzone Season 2
If you want to get your hands on the HDR, just play until you reach level 11. At this point the weapon will be unlocked and you can use it to cause some pain in Verdansk.
With Black Ops Cold War Since it is integrated into Warzone, you can use the weapon in both titles.
Best HDR Season 2 Alternatives
If you’re looking for an HDR alternative with an insanely high bullet speed and fast ADS, the LW3 Tundra is the ideal choice. You can also try out the Kar98k for its versatility in terms of long range sniping and fast close range scoping.
