Although Black Ops Cold War’s DMR 14 is included in Warzone, it can still be very effective with the right attachments. Here’s a perfect kit to dominate enemies with it in Warzone Season 2
The DMR 14 has been nerfed twice in Call of Duty Warzone. When the Black Ops Cold War weapons first arrived in the game, the DMR 14 quickly became the meta. With minimal recoil and extremely high damage, almost every player used it.
However, this weapon can still be used to dominate enemies in Warzone Season 2, even after the nerfs. You can further enhance the capabilities of this weapon with a few select attachments and perks before entering Verdansk.
Best DMR 14 Warzone Season 2 Attachments
- End of a loop: Agency Silencer
- Barrel: 20.8 ″ Task Force
- Optics: Axial arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
- Ammunition: Salvo 40 Rnd Fast Mag
Pair this semi-automatic tactical rifle with an SMG like the MAC-10 or MP5 and you’ll have Warzone’s deadliest weapons in your kit. It is best suited for medium distances, but can be effective even at long distances if you take the time to shoot.
The Agency Silencer now works much the same as Modern Warfare’s Monolithic Suppressor. This muzzle attachment quickly became the Warzone meta to take you off the mini map and increase the damage range. It is an essential attachment to the DMR 14.
To increase the gun’s damage, effective damage range, and bullet speed, we went with the 20.8 ″ Task Force barrel. This allows you to hit moving targets from far away, at the expense of greater vertical and horizontal recoil.
The good news is that the Field Agent Foregrip makes up for that so that you can keep the shots under control. This allows you to take full advantage of the power of the DMR 14 during mid- and long-range combat.
For optics we opted for the Axial arms 3x scope. It usually has to do with preference, but the 3x offers perfect magnification without being overly obtrusive. This is as close as it gets to Modern Warfare’s incredibly popular VLK scope.
Finally select it Salvo 40 Rnd Fast Mag because they provide extra ammo and a longer reload time. This gives you more leeway to miss a few photos during long-distance encounters, as you don’t have to worry about reloading too often.
The best benefits for Warzone DMR 14
- Advantage 1: E.O.D
- Advantage 2: Spirit
- Advantage 3: Amped
Since you will mainly use this weapon in medium-range encounters, you will need protection from enemies with explosives. For that reason, we recommend that you use the E.O.D perk, which will reduce incoming explosive damage.
You should get too Spirit because it hides you from heart rate sensors and UAVs, with which you can get the attack on your enemy. And last but not least, Amped allows you to quickly switch weapons during battle.
How to unlock the DMR 14 in Warzone Season 2
Once you are Level 49 you will automatically unlock the DMR 14 in Warzone Season 2. You do not need to have the Battle Pass to access this weapon.
With Black Ops Cold War Since it is integrated into Warzone, the weapon is available for use in both titles.
Best Alternatives to Warzone’s DMR 14
There are a few viable alternatives to the DMR 14 that you can try out in battle. With minimal recoil and solid damage, the M4 is great for mid-range combat, and can be paired with a sniper rifle.
If you need a support weapon to fight in these close and medium range fights, the AK-47 is a great choice in Season 2 with its strong time-to-kill and high bullet speed.
